CA,81 - 1u Rack of 8 Systems
OVERVIEW
The CA.81 was born of our frustration with the cost of quality analog wireless systems. Many of our clients simply did not have the budget for quality TRUE DIVERSITY systems like the Sennheiser EW100 or Shure SLX14. So we set about designing a compact package with 8 receivers in a single 1u box that matched or bettered the performance of those industry standard systems. The result - the CA.81 at a street price of about half the of the "professional" offerings.
Each system comprises an 8ch receiver, 8 bodypack transmitters or 8 handhelds or by special arrangement any combination of those, 4 antennas and a power wall wart.

How many Simultaneous Systems
24 in most locations ... use 2 systems on G band or H band and 1 system on H band or G band
Operating Frequencies
UHF 490 MHZ to 580MHz across 2 "bands: G band: 490-530MHz, H band: 530-580MHz
Batteries
Use AA Alkaline 1.5v cells or NiMH AA 1.2v Rechargeables or Lithium Ion 1.5v Rechargeables
Nominal Battery Life
6-8 hours under normal operating conditions
Range
With good line of sight from antennas to stage - 300ft is possible, tho we recommend the use of directional antennas if distance is over 65ft.
Frequency Allocation
CA.81 will scan for available clear frequencies one receiver at a time. Once a frequency is found, sync to a transmitter and leave transmitter powered on, then repeat.
